By metro and tram

The official site gives no metro or tram stops for the Old Town Hall. The metro station Staroměstská is on line A, and Můstek is on lines A and B. Trams 2, 17 and 18 have a stop called Staroměstská, according to the PID timetables we read on 24 October 2026; tram lines change, so check the PID site. We have not measured walking times from the stops.

On foot from the centre

Old Town Square is pedestrian: trams were removed from it in 1960 and buses in 1967, according to the operator’s page on the square. The Old Town Hall is the building with the tower on the square itself.

From the airport and the main station

From Václav Havel Airport, the public transport operator lists trolleybus 59 to Nádraží Veleslavín and then metro A (about 35 minutes), and bus 100 to Zličín and then metro B. From the main station take metro C to Muzeum and change to metro A towards Nemocnice Motol for Můstek and Staroměstská. Check timetables on the PID site.

Access

The official site says the entrance is fully barrier-free from the passage on Mikulášská street, and that a mechanical chair is available for visitors with an electric wheelchair. The historic interiors are not barrier-free.
