Žižkov Television Tower: frequently asked questions
Is this the official Žižkov Tower website?
No. Prague Ticket Guide is an independent visitor guide. The operator’s own ticket shop is tickets.towerpark.cz. We are not the operator, we do not run the tower, and this is not the official site. The tickets featured here are sold by our partner Tiqets, a third party.
What do the tickets on this page include?
The observatory ticket gives admission to the tower and the observatory floor, according to Tiqets. The ticket with an online audio guide adds the audio guide; its card says food, drinks and Wi-Fi are not included. The minigolf product is one round of 18 holes with equipment; a refundable deposit for the ball is not included. Read each card for the cancellation terms.
What are the opening hours?
The observatory is open every day from 9:00 to midnight. The operator does not publish a last-entry time.
How high is the observatory?
The observatory is at 93 metres, in a tower 216 m high. The restaurant and bar are at 66 m and the hotel suite at 70 m.
Can I go to the restaurant without the observatory ticket?
According to the operator’s FAQ, entering the restaurant and bar at 66 m or the bistro does not require the observatory ticket. Hours and bookings are on the operator’s site.
Who made the babies on the tower?
The ten crawling babies are by the Czech artist David Černý. The operator says they were installed in 2000, and encyclopaedia entries say they became permanent in 2001.
Is the tower accessible to visitors with reduced mobility?
The operator says the tower is only provisionally barrier-free and asks you to follow the signs that lead to the tower through the garages. Assistance dogs are always allowed.
